Abstract of paper given at Buddhism and Ecology conference:
Buddhist Resources for Issues of Population, Consumption and the Environment

This paper will argue that Buddhism does not favor pro-natalist values and policies. Therefore, it offers interesting and relevant alternatives to some of the world's religious ideas and values in a time when issues of population and conservation are urgent.
