Wolfhart P. Heinrichs is James Pichard Jewett Professor of Arabic in the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, Harvard University. His scholarly interests lie in the fields of medieval Arabic literary theory, Islamic legal theory, and Neo-Aramaic.
