Abdullah Imar Nasseef is Vice-Chairman of the Legislative Council of Saudi Arabia (Majlis Ash Shara). He holds a Ph.D. in Geology from Leeds University (U.K.) and has taught at Riyadh University. He currently is Professor of Geology at King Abdul Aziz University in Jeddah where he was president from 1980-1983. Nasseef was also Secretary General of the Muslim World League in Makkah from 1983 to 1993. Among his commitments, Nasseef is president of the Board of Trustees of the Muslim World Congress, a member of the Royal Academy of Morocco, and a Fellow of the Geological Societies of London (U.K.) and of Boulder, Colorado, USA.
