Carol Wayne White teaches philosophy of religion at Bucknell University. She has authored various articles addressing issues of race, gender, and sexuality within religious scholarship and the book, Triangulating Positions: Postructuralism, Feminism, and Religion (Humanities Press, 1998). She received a Templeton Science and Religion Award in 1997 to advance her interest in the intersection of science and religion; most recently she was awarded a NEH research grant in which she is researching the impact of critical theory (inaugurated by some of the Frankfurt School members) on religion in North America.
