| Annotation: | Coward outlines the process by which a scholarly team was organized to analyze the data of environmental science, demography, and economic analysis. Utilizing Tillichs correlational method, this team developed a theological response. His primary observation is that if the global market economy functions as a new religion then, economics becomes its theology. The result of this research is published in the book, Visions of a New Earth: Religious Perspectives on Population, Consumption, and Ecology. |
